Dear Members & Friends,

Hello everyone!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it is time to do some serious hunting. A snow storm is on the horizon, or so the forecasters say, and they have been wrong before. So come on down and shoot some birds. All of the corn has been combined, and with the colder and snowy forecast, the waterfowl hunting should be on the upswing. We will get another shipment of birds this weekend as we were almost out. The dove hunting this year was fair to good.(see picture below) Hunter numbers are about the same as last year.

Member Jeffrey Shoaf got his limit of doves on four different trips from September 1st through the 3rd week of October.

Reminder: February is always minor month. Bring someone under the age of 18 and get a 10% discount on all orders.

We received a new shipment of birds an Saturday. They are very healthy and are hard flyers.

Member Michael Goodman brought his friend, Seth and his two sons on Jan. 29th. They got 15 out of 20, and the kids obviously had a great time.	Member Steve Hendrickson brought his son Slaton and friend John on Dec.12th and bagged 16 out of 12.
	Member Theron Johnson brought his son Ryder and daughter Rayna on Sept. 4th and bagged 6 out of 8.

 

During the early waterfowl season, member Rob Martin got his limit of geese and some pheasants on Oct. 2nd

	Member Steve Yates and his new pup named Spook, with their limit of geese by 8:30 at the Loveless cornfield on Jan. 19th.
	Members Mike McCormick and Justin McCormick on the ends, brought their friend Mitch on Jan.9th and harvested 17 out of 15 pheasants.

Member Randy Sawyer had a great hunt on September 1st killing his limit of doves and got all five of the pheasants that he ordered. Of course he would not have had that good of hunt without those pretty yellow labs and he probably did not wake up grumpy on September 2nd!

Member Andy Hartman, Amanda Wagner & Travis Lindahl zeroed in on 33 birds on their initial blast and got another 5 birds on the follow up hunt on March 21. 38 out of 40! GOOD JOB!	Member Steve Merrifield, Kyle Robbins, Kristina Merrifield pose while Sandy Merrifield took photo. They got 22 birds on the initial blast and got another 9 birds on the follow up hunt on March 22. Good job!

Member Andy Hartman brought Member Barry Lindahl, Amanda Wagner & Travis Lindahl, who took this picture for the March 29th Euro Hunt. They got 24 birds on their initial blast & got 5 more on the follow up hunt. Smiles on everyone!	Member Ronnie Benson brought Drew Hollen, Russ Henninger, Jake Stone and members Jason and Ron Kibler for the March 30th shoot. They blasted 29 birds on the initial go and harvested 20 more on the ensuing hunt. Just look at all those smiles.

Randy Sawyer with 9 doves,4 pheasants & dog Brooks. Randy hunted doves for two hours on September 5th & says he could have gotten more if he would have hunted longer. He says there were lots of doves and wondered why more people didn’t hunt them.
Randy offers this! Never wake up grouchy, just let her sleep.
